Willson celebration as Culross joins stable of top talent.

Culross

Willson Musical Instruments has announced the signing of a new top class performer to add to its impressive stable of artists.

In addition to cornet stars Phillip Cobb, James Fountain and Chloe Abbott, we now add Iain Culross to the list of top class performers who select Willson as their chosen instrument.

Celebration

Iain is playing on a Willson 460 'Celebration' cornet at the National Finals at the Royal Albert Hall this weekend.

He told 4BR: "The build quality is exceptional — far superior to any other models on the market. The craftsmanship and finish of the instrument is superb."

Flexible

The cornet star has also been impressed by the instrument's flexibility and tonal qualities. "The instrument is very responsive and the intonation is very level and well balanced, requiring little alteration. This offers a player great flexibility."

Performances

Last month Iain performed in the Netherlands with Brass Band Rijnmond as a Willson Artist, and is looking forward to exploring the full potential of the instrument on his forthcoming tour to the USA where he will represent Willson and promote the 460 Celebration Model.

New generation

Iain is part of a new generation of players who are now discovering the beauty and quality of the Willson instruments.

Always described as of a superb manufacture and build, check out the Willson cornets available at eithder Rosehill Instruments or Trevada Music, our main dealers.
