The Bettishanger Band has announced a number of new signings.

Welcome

Following a restructure, the band based in Deal in Kent, welcome Steve MacIntyre who steps into the MD role, whilst Dennis Atkinson comes in on cornet and Trevor Attwood on horn.

Phil and Lynn Carruthers-Smith take on the euphonium and horn positions, whilst John Swadley comes in on trombone and Joe Hillyer on Eb tuba.

Two young players also come into the band from the Betteshanger Academy Band. Harry Yarnell and Lenny Hoffman join on cornet and baritone respectively.

With the building blocks in place for membership, numbers returning to contest levels, coupled with the pedigree of our new MD, the band is looking forward to a very exciting futureBetteshanger Band

Further signings

In addition further signings are in the pipeline from Simon Goodall, Will Powell and Mike West.
