4BR has been informed that presenters Frank Renton and Simone Rebello will announce the winners of the Radio 2 Young Brass Awards at the Brass in Concert Gala Concert this weekend.

Presentations

The presentations will be made to the Youth Brass Band of the Year, Soloist of the Year under 18 and Soloist of the Year Under 21.

Festival of Brass

As part of their Award, the recipients will be invited to play at a special broadcast concert at the Royal Northern College of Music Festival of Brass in January 2012, where an overall award winner will be announced.
