Russell Young has been appointed the new resident conductor at UNISON Kinneil Band

UNISON Kinneil Band has announced the appointment of Russell Young as their new Resident Conductor.

Experienced

The highly experienced conductor held the position of Principal Cornet with the Royal Marine Band in Dartmouth for over ten years and led the Chichester City Band to victory at the SCABA contest in 2010.

Russell moved to Scotland after a spell working with the Royal Marine Band in Portsmouth and was appointed as Bandmaster of The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Scotland in January.
