New Adoo CD planned

Following the success of the Dean Goffin inspired CD, the Clarence Adoo Trust will gain further help from Erik Leidzen.

Fundraisers for the Clarence Adoo Trust have informed 4BR that following the success of the CD, 'Crusader — The Music of Dean Goffin’, a new recording, featuring the music of Erik Leidzen will take place in 2012 to raise further money for the charity.

Champions

The recording will take place in early February and will feature both established and lesser known works from the composer.

The 2011 Brass in Concert Champions, Leyland, will perform the music with special guest soloists Kevin Ashman, Dávur Juul Magnussen and David Childs.

Leidzen also wrote a number of fantastic solo works, three of which are certain to be given fantastic interpretations by the world-class soloistsSpokesperson

Natuaral follow up

A spokesman for the project told 4BR: "Crusader proved that the appetite is very much there for this type of recording. Erik Leidzen was a great friend of Dean Goffin, so this idea felt like a natural follow-up.

Leidzen also wrote a number of fantastic solo works, three of which are certain to be given fantastic interpretations by the world-class soloists who are giving of their time and talents for the Trust."
