Death of Bollington sop

The death has been reported of Bollington soprano player Jim Genders.

Bollington Band has announced the sudden passing of their soprano player Jim Genders.

Distinction

Tim Clarke told 4BR: "Jim played soprano at Bollington for 15 years. Previously he played with great distinction for Cheshire Constabulary Band and enjoyed close connections with many bands in the North West. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him."

Funeral

The funeral will be held at St Michael's Church in Macclesfield at 13:30 on Monday 9th January. All are welcome.
