Phillip McCann will be leading the young players of the University of Huddersfield Brass Band on their first tour to Belgium in July.

Menin Gate

The band will be based in Mechelen and will be playing in various locations across the country giving six concerts in four days, including being given the honour of performing at the famous Menin Gate.

The band will be joining forces with both Brass Band Kapelle Brass and Brass Band Haspengouw.

Funds

The concert tour has been funded by all 40 students who helped raise the amount of £6500 to make the trip possible.
