4BR has been informed that young tuba star Will Druiett has left current National Champions, Brighouse & Rastrick with immediate effect.

Incredible

The last few months have been nothing short of incredible for the 15 year old, after he travelled to Austria to take part in the ITEC Conference at the Brucknerhaus in Linz, where he won the Young Artist Competition against worldwide opposition.

He has also spent time with superstars Roger Bobo, Roland Szentpali and Oystein Baadsvik in Italy, whilst a number of new opportunities have opened up for study and performances globally.

Difficult

He told 4BR: "It would have been difficult to do all this continuing with the band. My future commitments to improving as a player have now increased to such an extent that it would simply be impossible.
