Cheltenham challengers, Rainford has welcomed the husband and wife team of Andrew and Sam Warriner to their ranks in time for their forthcoming appearance at the National Finals.

The duo will join the North West Area First Section champions on Bb tuba and solo cornet, with Andrew replacing Simon Cunliffe who will be seen playing percussion for the contest, and Sam deputising for regular assistant principal cornet Morvern Sinclair, who will be on maternity leave.
