New quintet at Meltham

No less than five new players join the famous ranks of Meltham & Meltham Mills.

Meltham & Meltham Mills Band has strengthened their ranks with the signing of no less than five new players.

Cornets and euphonium

New cornets Peter Woodrow, Peter Brookes and James Burton as well as euphonium player Ashley Higgins are studying music at Huddersfield University, whilst local girl Emma Shaw is a local girl who returns to the band after playing in Birmingham, Manchester and the North East.

MD Norman Law told 4BR: "It’s a great pleasure to welcome enthusiastic young musicians to Meltham & Meltham Mills Band."
