The Federation of Australasian Brasss Bands have informed 4BR that a new partership deal with the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) in Brisbane is set to bring a whole new Brass Festival/Spectacular to Brisbane’s Southbank Performing Arts precinct for the next 5 years.

We are thrilled to have secured a working partnership with QPAC. It presents us with a wonderful opportunity to put on an innovative festival in a first class venue with first class facilities.Rick Casagrande

First class

FABB Chairman Rick Casagrande said "We are thrilled to have secured a working partnership with QPAC. It presents us with a wonderful opportunity to put on an innovative festival in a first class venue with first class facilities. It was painful not having been able to run the FABB contest in 2012 but this new deal allows to put on a much bigger event but still retain the things that have worked so well in the past."

Interested?

With dates available in August for 2013, there's flexibility for other dates in future years. Bands interested in appearing at the 2013 festival should contact FABB as soon as possible by email at admin@fabb.com.au or call +61 7 5577 2427.
