Needham leaves RESDEV Market Rasen

The successful partnership between Alan Needham and RESDEV Market Rasen Band has come to an end.

Market Rasen

4BR has been informed that RESDEV Market Rasen Band has parted company with their long standing MD Alan Needham.

Major sponsorship

The current Bolsover Fourth Section champions and Midlands Area runners–up, has in recent months secured a five figure sponsorship deal with Resin Floor Manufacturers RESDEV of Elland, and under Alan’s command became a consistent performer at major contests, reaching the National Finals in 2010 and again this year.

Hard work

Alan Needham told 4BR: "Although there are now irreconcilable differences, I’m grateful for the hard work that the players have put in over recent years, and I would like to thank the outgoing Chairman for his unwavering support and for brokering a very generous sponsorship deal, the likes of such I have never witnessed in the lower sections before."

Highlight

He added: "The band has performed with real class over recent times, if not always with the necessary accuracy to please some adjudicators.

The highlight for me will always be winning the Bolsover title and receiving the trophy from Philip Sparke. I wish the band well in their future endeavours."
