Newtown entries reminder

Bands wishing to take part in the popular Newtown March & Open Air Contest in Mid Wales need to get their entries in.

Bands intending to take part in the Newtown (Mid Wales) March & Open Air Contest on Sunday 9th June are reminded that the closing date for entries is Monday 29th April.

Limited

Entries will be limited to ten/twelve bands, with trophies and a generous prize pot on offer together with individual awards for Best Musical Performance, Deportment and Soloist, including best Youth/ Training / Non Registered Band.

The music adjudicator will be Steve Pritchard-Jones.

March 18 • Tintwistle Band are looking for a 2nd euphonium and 2nd baritone player to help complete the team.. We rehearse Monday and Thursday 8-10pm at our own bandroom on Old Road in Tintwistle, and perform a variety of concerts all year round.
