Brindle in the box at Sowerby Bridge

Gareth Brindle will be the man in the box at the forthcoming Friendly Band (Sowerby Bridge) Slow Melody, Duet & Quartet Contest.

The Friendly Band (Sowerby Bridge) in Yorkshire has announced the appointment of Gareth Brindle as their adjudicator for their popular annual Slow Melody & Quartet Contest being held on the Sunday 12th May.

The contest is being held in the Bandroon, Water Hil Lane, Sowerby Bridge HX6 2UA and will commence at 10.30am

Ready for brekkie

Full catering facilities are available all day, and the will be bandroom open at 8.30am for breakfasts.

April 3 • We have vacancies for a trombone player and a bass player. Cleethorpes Band rehearse near the seafront on Thursday and Sunday evenings. Placed 3rd in the NOE 4th section. Other players are always welcome as we may be able to switch positions around
