It's a dog's life...

How to make your dog look a bit like Richard Evans and help a brace of great canine charities too...

Doggy bandanas

The spirit of brass banding enterprise for good causes is never too far away, as Michelle Garbutt of Murton Colliery Band has shown.

Combined love

Michelle has combined her love of banding and all things canine by coming up with a great idea to help the Stray Aid and North East Emergency Rescue Fund.

She has designed some doggy bandanas – which can make man’s best friend, look like a very suave canine mix of Richard Evans and Bruce Springsteen.

Fanatics

Michelle told 4BR: "One of the designs is very much with brass band fanatics in mind and all the profits are divided between Stray Aid and the North East emergency rescue fund to help unwanted and abandoned dogs."
