A former principal cornet of the Grimsby Band and a Fellow in Music at Bradford University, he will join the back row cornet bench in time for the band’s appearance at the British Open.

New baritone

With the departure of second baritone player Laura Channell, who after gaining a her degree from Huddersfield University is embarking on an exciting career in London, the band welcomes Louise Crook, who is currently studying music at Huddersfield University.

Along with welcoming such an experienced player as Anthony we also say hello to Louise who will also be a great addition to our team for BirminghamCarlton Main Frickley

A band spokesperson told 4BR: "Laura leaves the band at a real high point and has been a large part in creating the successes in recent years. She has been a fantastic team player and her bubbly personality will be missed by us all.
