Brighouse & Rastrick is aiming for the Christmas number 1 spot this year with their latest pop release called ‘Santa — a Magical Christmas song’, which they hope will warm the chestnuts on a few open fires around the brass band world!

Sing-along

Written specially for the band by Della Holliday and Adrian Williams, the festive number has already been aired on BBC Radio Leeds and the sing-along version has accumulated over 2000 views on Youtube since its release just a few weeks ago.

Magic of Christmas

A spokesperson told 4BR: "We hope the whole family will sense the magic of this Christmas song while presents are being wrapped and piled under the tree, mulled wine is being topped up in front of a warm fire while grandpa moans about grandma’s singing and excited little children await the sound of reindeer hooves on the rooftop!"
