The Fishburn Band has announced that Huw Thomas has stepped down from the position of Musical Director with the North of England band.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "The change is for personal reasons and was by mutual consent and we would like to publicly thank Huw for his efforts during his time with us.

The band has improved greatly during his tenure as MD, and he leaves us in a good position to be very competitive in the Championship Section in 2014."
