Hoover aim to sweep up in 2014

The Hoover Bolton Band is looking forward to more success in the First Section in 2014.

The Bolton Hoover Band under MD, Trevor Halliwell are hoping to continue their upward contesting trend in 2014 as they return to the First Section.

Promotion

Four years ago they were battling away in the Third Section, but with some serious hard work and commitment from all concerned they have now secured their promotion to the First Section.

Trevor told 4BR: "It’s been a very productive and rewarding four years since starting with the band."

He added: "Over this time they have produced a number of excellent performances both on the contest and concert platforms. 2014 is sure to be very challenging but I'm sure we will rise to it and become even more successful."
