Hirst and Wadsworth to share Dolphin duties

The experienced adjudication duo of David Hirst and Kevin Wadsworth will be the men to impress in Darlington this year.

The experienced duo of David Hirst and Kevin Wadsworth has been announced as the adjudicators for the forthcoming North of England Regional Championships, to be held in Darlington’s Dolphin Centre on the weekend of the 15th/16th of March.

Sections

David, will be charged with sorting out the qualifiers in the Championship, Second and Fourth Section, with Kevin reaching his decisions over the performances in the First and Third.

Regional Secretary Tony Griffiths told 4BR: "We look forward to a warm Northern welcome to David and Kevin. Both are well respected friends of the regional banding scene."

Excellent support

4BR has also been informed that the level of support from bands in the region has been excellent for the contest this year.

Tony added: "We thank bands who have entered and remind the few still to enter to send their entries by the 31st of January."
