Ripon entries now open

4BR has been informed that entries are now being sought for the 2014 Ripon Entertainment Contest, which is being held on Saturday 31st May at the city’s magnificent medieval cathedral.

The event is open to Third, Fourth and unregistered bands that will be required to perform a 20 minute entertainment programme which should include a hymn and a march. The entry fee is £25.

Prizes are awarded for best hymn, best march, best soloist, most entertaining, highest placed 4th section and the podium finishers.
