Now you see it....

Vandals won't stop a determined fund raiser doing their bit to help a great cause.

Yarmouth

A rather cruel piece of vandalism will not be stopping Emma Philpot, a member of Great Yarmouth Brass from completing a charity cycle ride from London to Paris in May in aid of Breast Cancer Care UK.

Her fundraising efforts include a concert by her band at St Marks Church, Oulton Broad on Sunday 16th February at 2.00pm, and to advertise the event Emma purchased a very large poster (above) to be displayed on the wall outside the church to help catch the eye of potential supporters.

Ripped down

However, cruel vandals have ripped the poster down and now it cannot be found – adding to the cost of what is hoped to be a great fund raising event for a wonderful cause.

Worthy cause

Great Yarmouth’s Penny Gilbert told 4BR: "As you can see from the photo, the poster gives details of the concert with the Breast Cancer Care UK logo, and features members of Great Yarmouth Brass.

It’s sad that after Emma and St Marks have gone to such effort and expense to support a worthy cause, someone should wish to remove the poster. The poster was securely attached, so the weather is unlikely to be the culprit."

More information

If anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of the poster please contact Great Yarmouth Brass, but if you are in the area then why not just go along and support the event anyway.
