The Greenalls Band has welcomed a number of new signings ahead of their appearance at the North West Regional Contest in Blackpool in March.

Experience

Richard Cowen, who has played with a number of top section bands in his long career, comes in on the back row of the cornet section, whilst Simon Cowen joins on baritone, although his main instrument has been the trombone for most of his playing extensive career.

The experienced Sid Weir has joined on 3rd cornet, whilst John Holcroft returns to the band on tenor horn.

Winter Gardens

Completing the signings is Eilinor Camlin, who works in the management of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, who comes in to complete the horn section in time for their Winter Gardens appearance.
