Just a week before the Tour de France comes to Calderdale, another big crowd is guaranteed to enjoy world class competition with visitors from far and wide enjoying the special atmosphere the event creates.

Since the first festival was held 15 years ago, the event has become one of the most popular in the banding calendar.

This year, 26 bands from Youth to Championship status will keep the non-stop music flowing as they march along Bethel Street to the Town Hall Square where they will perform their hymn tune & contest march selections.
