Members of the National Association of Brass Band Conductors have been enjoying their Annual Convention in Gloucester.

4BR Editor Iwan Fox was there to listen to some of the presentations that were made — from composer Gavin Higgins talking about the art of composition, to Dr John Hall’s insight into the psychology of confidence, communication, awareness and performance.

Performances

There were also performances from the City of Cardiff (Melingriffith) Band, James Shepherd Versatile Brass and the Clifton & Lightcliffe Bands as well as the usual annual general meeting appointments and discussions.
