Raw Brass brilliance at its best

The new Ray Farr Signature Raw Brass cornet has been making a huge impression since its European launch — from Perth to Perth

Raw Brass Cornet

There has been a great response from players around the world to the recent launch of the all new Ray Farr Signature Raw Brass cornet.

Footsteps

Following in the footsteps of its sister instrument, the acclaimed Ray Farr Signature Raw Brass flugel horn, the cornet received a resounding thumbs-up from everyone who tried it at the European Championships in Perth where it was launched by its designer Chris Waters.

Since then, a steady stream of enthusiastic performers, anxious to find out more about the instrument have been getting in touch to find out more about an instrument that displays the same remarkable playing characteristics.

World beating

Chris Waters believes he has once again made an instrument with the world beating features that are enjoyed by the acclaimed flugel horn; Ease of blowing, especially in the high registers and spot-on intonation.

The cornets random mass design, rimless construction, using a unique alloy, Bell Stayless™ and a lacquer-less finish with a conical flair of the bell to amplify sound, replicate the criteria employed in designing the unique Ray Farr Signature Raw Brass Flugel.

And those who have tried it agree.
