21st August:

Frank Renton features classic brass band tracks from Black Dyke, Superbrass, Cory and the fabulous French military band L'Orchestre d'harmonie de la Garde Republican.

14th August:

Not many bands get to appear in a film but Ian Porthouse joins Frank Renton with news of a starring role for Tredegar Town Band in the much anticipated British film, ‘Pride’.

7th August:

Frank Renton with some new releases and some requests including a march dedicated to the first 100 thousand men who died in the First World War Kenneth Alford's sombre but stirring ‘The Vanished Army’.

We hear music from the all girl trombone group Bonesapart and sample the great playing of Philip Cobb in a piece written for him by Kenneth Downie from a new release celebrating the musical traditions of the Cobb family.
