The City of Chester Band has announced that Stephen Gittins has taken over as their new MD as they look forward to performing at the Third Section National Finals at Cheltenham in September.

Auditions

With the departure of former MD Malcolm Peach due to work relocation, and after a series of auditions, Stephen, who has played with the likes of Black Dyke and Flowers on tuba, will now lead the band at the contest.
