The Boarshurst Band has announced that they are to work on a number of innovative musical projects with newly appointed composer in residence, Dave Collins.

New music

Dave (above) and Musical Director James Garlick aim to introduce new music to the band that will be able to be used at forthcoming concerts and high profile events.

The composer told 4BR: "I’m looking forward to writing new and original band music for Boarshurst that will also be suitable for other bands across the country."

Good friend

Meanwhile, MD James Garlick added: "Dave is a good friend of mine and we are already worked together on ideas such as the Electrohorn Project.
