The Nailsworth Band recently helped former player and conductor Trevor Pickin and his wife Joy, celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary lunch at Minchinhampton in Gloucestershire.

As a long time supporter, Mal also made sure they arrived in considerable style, with the band transported by an original 1951 Foden’s Motor Works bus (pictured above).

Whilst they were there the band performed a number of the couple’s favourite pieces -much of it connected with the band’s history.
