Urban Play helps Belgian sop star

One of Belgium's top soprano players has been paying tribute to the help given to him by the brand new Urban Play app from Buffet.

Jeroen Corneillie, of 2014 Belgian National champion Brassband Willebroek, recently took the decision to play on a Besson BE924R soprano cornet and change his practice regime to include regular sessions on Urban Play.

Great confidence

"Being the soprano cornet player of Brassband Willebroek is quite a role, but it is one that has given me great confidence,” he said.

“While the band kept getting better, I felt that I needed to perform on an instrument that also gave me so much more opportunity to improve too. After trying the leading makes it was the Besson that was perfect for me.”

The results with the band have spoken for themselves and the Urban Play app has been an important part of that tooJeroen Corneillie

Jeroen added: “The results with the band have spoken for themselves and the Urban Play app has been an important part of that too.

It’s a great addition to my practice regime and can provide exercises for musicians of all levels. It’s an amazing teaching aid — and helps you get in touch with your ‘groove’ and improvisation skills. It’s fantastic and fun.”
