Good turn out in store for NEMBBA event

There is a good turn out for the pre-Area North East Midlands Brass Band Association contest in South Normanton in February.

The North East Midlands Brass Band Association has announced a good line up of bands for its annual contest to be held at the Post Mill Centre South Normanton, Derbyshire on Sunday 22nd February.

Keen competition

There will be plenty of keen competition for adjudicator John Berryman to enjoy, with day commencing with the Fourth Section at 10.00am. Results for the Fourth, Third and Second Sections will be announced after the Second Section is completed.

It’s only £2.00 to get in and listen to the action, with plenty of food and drink available throughout the day to purchase.

August 22 • Wantage Community Brass (non-competitive) are looking to recruit a new Musical Director. The group is unique in that the average age is almost certainly around 70! They rehearse on Tue from 4pm and Thu from 7pm (both times flexible depending on person).
