Cory head for Majestic future

Cory make partnership link with Majestic Percussion.

Cory and Majestic

The Cory Band has announced a new partnership agreement with leading percussion manufacturer, Majestic Percussion.

The link will see the world’s number 1 ranked band perform on the full Majestic range and become their latest brass band endorsees.

RNCM signing

The partnership agreement was signed before the band’s recent performance in the Festival of Brass at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

Cory Band Manager Austin Davies told 4BR: “With the large number of concert performances and recording sessions in the schedule, we have been looking to upgrade our range of percussion instruments for a while.

We are delighted that we have signed this agreement with Majestic which provides our percussion team with the very best range of quality sounding instruments.”

Look forward

He added: “In addition, we have been really grateful for the regular communication and support shown by Jaap Ruisch, Sales Manager from Majestic to make this possible. We look forward to this partnership developing in the forthcoming years.”

Jaap Ruisch was also delighted with the new link to the Welsh band: "Majestic is delighted with this exciting partnership with Cory. They are not only the number one ranked band in the world, but are also wonderful people to work with.”

Ev-entz link

A further partnership development will see South Wales based company Ev-entz become the band’s official Retail Partner.

Ev-entz have worked with Cory for many years and are part of the agreement to provide maintenance support for the percussion instruments.

Jaap Ruisch added: “We are also very happy we could include our Majestic dealer Ev-entz into the partnership. With their skills, we are assured the percussion will stay in perfect condition over the years.”
