Report & Results: 2015 North Wales BBA Solo, Duet & Quartet

Over 150 players take part in the North Wales BBA Solo, Duet & Quartet Championship in Caernarfon.

The North Wales Brass Band Association held its annual Solo, Duet & Quartet Championship at The Galeri, Caernarfon on the weekend (above), with over 150 excellent performers on show for the audience and adjudicators John Powell and Paul Walton, founder members of Tubalaté to enjoy.

Most promising

The Iwan Williams Trophy for the ‘Most Promising Young Player’ not in the prizes was awarded to Elen Llestyn of Llanrug, with the trophy for the most successful band going to Deiniolen.

Tintwistle Band

June 9 • Tintwistle Band are looking for a 2nd horn player to help complete the team. . We rehearse Monday and Thursday 8-10pm under the baton of our MD Jim Henson, at our own bandroom on Old Road in Tintwistle, and perform a variety of concerts all year round.
