4BR has been informed of the death of Megan Gowing who sadly passed away on Saturday 21st February.

Worked tirelessly

A Band spokesperson told 4BR: “Megan, along with her late husband Yori, was a long-time supporter and ladies committee member of the Ynyshir Band, and worked tirelessly to raise much needed funds for the band via jumble sales, coffee mornings, raffles etc.

Megan will be very sorely missed by everyone and our thoughts and deepest sympathy go to her Son Robert at this extremely sad time.”
