There may be just two miles between the Wiltshire villages of Woodfalls and Downton, but on Thursday March 12th, both bands will bridge the distance to come together for an open rehearsal ahead of their twin challenge at the West of England Regional Championship in Torquay.

Set works

Downton Band conducted by Paul Williams will be perform the Second Section set work, ‘Variations on Maccabeus’ by Kevin Norbury, whilst Dr Robert Childs will lead Woodfalls on the Championship set test, ‘The Torchbearer’ by Peter Graham.

The free open rehearsal is being held in the Drama studio of Trafalgar School, Downton, starting promptly at 8.00pm.
