Dodworth gain influx of experience

Things are looking up for Dodworth Colliery MW Band after an influx of experience to the ranks.

Following their creditable top six finish in the Third Section at the recent Yorkshire Regional Championships in Bradford, Dodworth Colliery MW Band has announced the signing of a number of experienced players.

Signings

Trevor Kendall comes in on solo horn after playing with EYMS and Hatfield Bands, with Richard Robinson and Ian Clark, on soprano and cornet from South Milford. Former Old Silkstone and Hade Edge player Stuart Haigh comes in on BBb tuba with Jeffrey Bailey joining on solo cornet from Yorkshire Imperial.

We regularly get between 20 -24 at rehearsal which we are very proud of.”
