The organiser's of the Holme Valley Slow Melody & Ensemble Competition have advised 4BR that this year's event will take place on Saturday 20th June at Hade Edge Bandroom.
Smith to adjudicate
The man charged with making the all important decisions will be the former Black Dyke tenor horn virtuoso, Sandy Smith.
Sandy's duties will start at 10.00am with the Junior Sections, whilst the open age and veterans will also be showcased.
There will be two ensemble sections, Open & juniors, the latter being under the age of 18.
