Centre Stage Ltd will certainly be showing its support for European banding this weekend as one of the sponsors of the European Championships in Freiburg.

Flags and banners

As well as providing a new set of fantastic stand banners and framed Winners Pennants for all categories, including the Composers Competition, visitors will see ten 4.5m high flags (above) adorning the flagpoles outside the Koncerthaus.

MD Martin Gernon told 4BR that the company is delighted to support the 38th Championship festival.

“With the event sold out for every category, a wonderful venue and arguably the strongest filed ever assembled for the Europeans, it will be an incredible contest," he said.

"We have a double sized trade stand for both our uniform and percussion ranges and are delighted that six of the competing bands, including all the British contingent are wearing uniforms all recently supplied by us.

Looking forward

He added: "In addition our two percussion mallet endorsees, Cory and Black Dyke are both appearing, so it promises to be a great weekend for the company. We look forward to welcoming friends, old and new to the stand and I dare say a small beverage in the bar afterwards!”
