Ticket demands at record levels for British Open

Just three weeks after they went on sale, seats are being snapped up at a record rate for the British Open Championship in September.

Demands for tickets for this year's British Open Championship are already breaking records according to the contest organisers.

Just three weeks after they went on sale, there are no seats left in the Circle with a high level of take-up in the Upper Circle, Choir and Stalls areas, with the Grand Tier having the most seats left .

Reflections on Swan Lake

The 163rd contest takes place at Birmingham's Symphony Hall on Saturday 5th September, and not surprisingly a contest spokesperson was delighted with the news that ticket sales to hear 'Reflections on Swan Lake' by Stephen Roberts played by many of the world's best bands, is so high.

"Once again at the British Open it appears the set work has captured the imagination of the brass band loving public. All we can suggest is that anyone who has not yet purchased their tickets is encouraged to do so to avoid any disappointment."
