This weekend sees Smithills Senior Band under the direction of MD Chris Wormald record their latest CD just two weeks before their return to perform once again at Disneyland Paris.

Tom & Jerry

Entitled 'Tom and Jerry', the latest release will feature 16 new arrangements by Chris including, 'Heart of Courage', 'Subdivisions', 'Somewhere Only We Know', 'Reflection', 'Music', 'Careless Whisper' and the title track 'Tom and Jerry'.

Also featured will be the band's talented principal cornet, Sophie Dunlevy and solo euphonium Alex Smith recording 'The Folks Who Live On The Hill', on his birthday.
