The highly popular — and expert — sound engineer and recording specialist Richard Scott will soon be putting his precision skills to a very different test with a sponsored tandem parachute jump.
Successful fight
Richard (above) has been successfully fighting cancer for over five years now and has been having treatment at the world renowned Christie Hospital in Manchester.
As he told 4BR: "It's not gone away, but it's doing whatever it's doing really slowly, and I hope to record a few more CDs yet!"
Jump
Richard has therefore decided to thank everyone at the hospital by raising much needed funds so that they can continue to help other people — and so the tandem parachute jump will take place the day after the British Open on September 6th.
