Young stars in Great Yarmouth

The young players of Great Yarmouth Band are certainly looking towards a fantastic future...

Future Brass

The young players of Great Yarmouth Band 'Future Brass' entertained friends, family and other guests at their recent informal end of term concert.

Royal visit

The first half of the concert was performed by the Training Band (above) with a programme themed on a Royal Visit to Yarmouth, and included 'Grand Fanfare', 'Skye Boat Song', and 'Sandcastles' to 'Summer Tango', 'Mini March', 'Happy Birthday' and 'God Save the Queen'. There were also several solos items, duets and trios.

The baritone section was awarded the Summer Team 'Points Challenge Trophy', and the band were pleased to learn that they had jointly managed (by effort, attitude and regular attendance) to pass the 1000 points target required to earn a night of bowling!
