Wingates help new launch new range

The principal players of Wingates Band have helped launch a new range of instruments through Brass Toff.

Whilst most people were enjoying a relaxing bank holiday weekend, players from the Wingates Band were helping to launch a new range of brass instruments.

New range

The well known Brass Toff proprietor and Wingates MD, Paul Andrews (above with the band) has used his worldwide contacts to work with the Hong Kong based Elliott Brass and former Wingates euphonium star Kim Holly-Thorpe to bring a new range of instruments to the UK.

Many players from local bands some from as far as The Isle of Man came to what proved to be a highly enjoyable and educational day4BR

Principals

Master classes and workshops were organised in order to give players a chance to see the complete range of instruments, headlined by Kim herself along with Wingates principals Andy Macdonald and Adam Taylor and other guest artists.
