Grimethorpe congratulations from Band Supplies link

An outstanding band and an outstanding relationship with Band Supplies gives Grimethorpe the edge at Symphony Hall on the weekend.

Grimethorpe

Band Supplies have offered their congratulations to Grimethorpe Colliery Band following their British Open victory at Symphony Hall in Birmingham on the weekend.

Outstanding relationship

Managing Director Ronnie Tennant told 4BR: "We have enjoyed an outstanding relationship as the major supplier of instruments to Grimethorpe Colliery Band for many years, so it was wonderful to see them reclaim the British Open title after a 24 year wait under Dr Robert Childs."

He added: "Band Supplies continues to work closely with Grimethorpe and Besson to meet their instrument needs — and we were proud to recently supply Michael Dodd with his brand new Besson Prestige euphonium for their Australian tour."

Second to none

Grimethorpe's star principal cornet player and Besson artist Roger Webster returned the compliment: "I have worked with Ronnie and Band Supplies for many years, and the quality of the service and expert knowledge that goes behind what they do is second to none.

They are very much a part of this latest Grimethorpe success."

Every level

Established over 30 years ago, Band Supplies continues to meet the instrumental needs of bands at every level — from the likes of Grimethorpe Colliery and Black Dyke to youth bands and ensembles all over the UK, Europe and the world.

I have worked with Ronnie and Band Supplies for many years, and the quality of the service and expert knowledge that goes behind what they do is second to none. They are very much a part of this latest Grimethorpe successRoger Webster

Unrivalled knowledge

As Ronnie added: "Our unrivalled knowledge and commitment to quality governs what we do — and applies to every person and every band we deal with.

That's why the very best bands in the world come to Band Supplies — and that's what we take back to them and every one of our customers."
