Howard's way at City of Oxford Silver

City of Oxford Silver announce the appointment of the experienced Nigel Howard as their new MD.

4BR has been informed that the City of Oxford Silver Band has appointed Nigel Howard as their new MD with immediate effect.

The highly experienced player and conductor has previously directed Bath Spa, Bream, Bedworth Brass and Daventry Brass, and is currently MD at Beech Hill Concert Band as well as playing principal trombone at the Championship Section Lydbrook Band.

125 years of history

He joins the Third Section band that has over 125 years of history and which currently has a beginners, training and senior band developing future musicians at all levels.
