Leyland looking for old white suited revellers...

If your want to recall the memories of the great white suited days of Richard Evans, then a fantastic re-union dinner will be the perfect stage to dust it off again...

rICHARD eVANS

The Leyland Band will be holding a very special 'Re-union' dinner next month as they recall the brilliant contesting days of Richard Evans with the North West outfit.

Cravat wearing

The event aims to get together as many old players from the eras of Leyland Motor Vehicles, Leyland DAF, BNFL and JJB, to revel in the memories of the great 'Tricky Dicky' in his cravat wearing pomp!

The event at the Wellington Park Hotel and Conference Centre in Leyland on January 17th, is aimed at players who wore the famous white dinner jackets up to the year 2000 — although to be fair, anyone who has enjoyed any involvement with the band and the 'King of Entertainment' is welcome to get in touch and come along and make it a special occasion.

Myths and legends

So if you were a player, committeeman, supporter or even a fan, then just get in touch and enjoy a long, lazy Sunday afternoon reminiscing with plenty of food and drink, stories, tales, myths and even some legends of one of the great men of the banding world.

There will even be a special Skype connection to link up with people around the world!
