Brighouse & Rastrick rounded off their 2015 concert season with their traditional 'festive double' event at their local Central Methodist Church.

Sell out

The matinee and evening sell-out performances saw the audiences treated to a wide variety of repertoire from festive favourites to pop classics as well as a number of new works arranged by resident conductor Leigh Baker.

The afternoon matinee performance also included musicians from Brighouse High School's, Wind Band & Guitar Group, who were thanked by Band President with a fantastic early Christmas present of a donation to their music department funds.

The concert also saw the band announce to their supporters that they will represent England at the European Brass Band Championships in Lille, France in April and in Ostend in 20174BR

Soloists

Featured soloists during the concerts were Lucy Cutt, Sheona White, Ryan Watkins and recently appointed solo euphonium Phillipe Swartz.

The concert also saw the band announce to their supporters that they will represent England at the European Brass Band Championships in Lille, France in April and in Ostend in 2017.
