Death of former Sale MD

The death has been announced of former Sale Brass MD, Bobby Richard.

Sale Brass has announced the passing of Bobby Richard, who conducted the band from 1989 to 1992, following a bravely fought battle with cancer.

Bob was a popular MD and enjoyed considerable success with Sale Brass including a hat-trick of wins at the Kirkby Lonsdale Contest between 1990 & 1992.

Funeral details

The funeral will be held at noon on Monday 15th February at St Joseph's Church, Hope Road, Sale and afterwards at Altrincham Crematorium.
