Black Dyke to preview Cambridge results

European champion to open their doors in Ossett to showcase their Cambridge Variations work ahead of Bradford.

European champion Black Dyke will present their open rehearsal ahead of their appearance at the forthcoming Yorkshire Regional Championship, at Ossett Town Hall, Market Place, Ossett (WF5 8BE) on Friday 4th March.

Cambridge Variations

Under the direction of Prof Nicholas Childs, the band will perform the set-work 'Cambridge Variations' by Philip Sparke.

Time and place

The open rehearsal will commence at 8.00pm and will be opened by a performance of 'Essay' by Edward Gregson, featuring the Harrogate Band under MD David Smith, who is a member of Black Dyke's cornet section.

Admission is free and doors open at 7.30pm.
